The Ode races take place in a state park, Holly Recreation Area. As a park visitor, all rules and regulations must be followed. This information can be found online or at the park.

Highlights to note include the following:
- No open fires except in designated camping area fire pits
- No camping except in designated camping areas (start/finish & parking is not a camping area)
- 25mph maximum speed on park roads, posted speeds may be lower
- Alcohol allowed at start/finish or your designated camping area, no glass.
- Alcohol prohibited in all other public areas (on trails, roads, beaches, etc.)
- Daily $9 vehicle permit not included in race entry
Lodging
If you want to tent, car or trailer camp, book early, McGinnis campground will be full before spring. There is NO overnight camping in tents or cars at the race start/finish or parking areas. No exceptions – it’s against park rules.
